I also launch the game through origin, since I’m running Windows 10 I can’t launch it through “TS3W.exe” like the workflow wanted, (it would just launch origin) but one thing in the workflow “sort of” worked. The Sims 3: Create the perfect world with full customization at your fingertips.
net framework and windows are all up to date and my pc is plenty strong enough to handle this game.
The workflows had me do all kinds of things but the jist of it is I’ve cleared all cache and other files and done clean reinstalls many times. It will try to launch (screen goes black) then it will be a minimized window that stays black with a small error message window behind it that says “service initialization failed” followed by a series of letters and numbers I assume to be the error code.Īfter working though several workflows including the sims help site, I sort of got it working. So my sims 3 has been launch crashing for a long time.
